Our mission is to combine the improvement of the prediction of the simulation, an easy usage for the user and excellent testing procedures for accurate material properties. This leads to optimal potential usage of the material in a lightweight usage and therefor in reduction of the global CO2 emissions.
Dr. Daniela Feldten and Dr. Nils Meyer, two experts in ligthweight engineering, focused since 2008 on advanced composites. Since then they co-worked in investigation programs on the calculation and simulation of high pressure tanks and worked on the preparation of the commercial usage of a software tool since 2012. In 2017 they founded mefex to provide materials testing services and µChain - the tool chain for simulation.
