The legal basis for processing

According to Article 6(1) 1 of the GDPR, the processing of data is only lawful if at least one of these conditions is met:
(a) the data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes;
(b) processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the data subject's request prior to entering into a contract;
(c) processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject;
(d) processing is necessary in order to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person;
(e) processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller;

Place of processing

The directly collected data is processed at the business premises of the owner in Germany.


Retention period

The records of the directly collected data will be kept for at least 8 years for tax reasons. Other retention periods are listed below for the specific services that collect data.


Types of directly collected data

"Personal data" as defined by the GDPR means any data that can be used to identify a specific individual, including but not limited to:

  • Email
  • Address
  • Payment information

When you contact us or pay us for a service, we will have access to your name, email address or phone number, depending on how you choose to contact us. We will also ask you for your address in order to issue you an invoice for the service provided. This data is necessary for us to comply with the legal requirements under Article 6(1)c and will only be used to provide the service to you. The data will not be disclosed to third parties, with the exception of our tax advisor or the tax authorities.


Server log files

When you visit our website, the server hosting the website automatically stores certain data about your visit. All data collected is anonymized and you cannot be identified from this data.
Purpose: legitimate interest according to the article 6(1)f.
